89 F1 single sided swing arm?
Hey guys I want to swap my 89 CBR 600 over to a single sided swing arm. I have looked on eBay and the like but I can't seem to find a fitted aftermarket arm for an f1. There are plenty of options for f3s and f4is so I was wondering if anyone here has swapped over a later model swing arm onto their f1? If so then I would imagine it would be possible to fit a single sided arm from a late model onto my bike.
Any ideas?

I put a 600 rr swinger in my 87 I had to narrow it and weld dogbone mounts in. To put a vfr in I'm guessing you would have to narrow the pivot and make a new shock mount because if I remember reading correctly the vfr uses an offset upper shock mount. I guess what I'm saying is are you good at cutting and welding

Hmm I did some research and it does looks like I will need to cut and weld you are correct. I worked as a machinist for a few years so precision cuts are no problem. I would only be unsure of rewelding the right way to keep everything aligned. Guess the only way to find out would be to try it or follow a detailed procedure on the modification. Thanks guys at least I know it can be done.
