Default 88 cane wont fire

600 cane turns over but just wont fire. im not sure what the deal is it ran then i changed the plugs and cleaned the air filter and now it just wont fire. it will start with starter spray but have to keep it throttled down and will only rev up about half way. someone please help me out i have a lot of time and money in my bike and just want to ride the dang thing.

aftermarket airfilter im guessing? was it fully dry when you re installed it?

does it run on 4 cyls ? to check try to unplug spark caps while ishes running. Then try to run it with no filter, it wont hurt it to much and will help you to focalize trouble

did you check the gap on your new plugs? other than that sounds like a problem with that filter... maybe getting too much air? did a vaccuum line come unhooked in the process?
