1987 600F Project bike !
Thanks @IDoDirt and @hamlin6 for the advice and suggestions. You guys are great.
more than just taking pictures, I think I am going to make diagrams and notations as I take apart stuff. I often find the pictures lack context not long after I took them. Or maybe I will take video with audio commentary.
I can see that the whole assembly will be, by far, the most complicated thing I have ever worked on.
Now I need to go figure out what rails are. LOL !

That’s a great idea.
don’t let what we are saying worry you. We are just being precautionary for you.
there are lots of pieces but basically it’s the same thing repeated 4 times and the interconnecting hardware.
the rail is just the metal bar that connects all the individual choke actuators.

Correct part numbers are: 16010MN4003 or 16010MN4741 or 16010MN4305. ALWAYS compare part numbers before ordering anything.

@Wesku79 Is right, the link I provided was for the later model 600F's. Yours is the first series. The link above from Wesku79 is the correct one. Sorry about the incorrect link.

@Wesku79 thanks for checking. My heart sank a bit, but I realized I miswrote - I did end up ordering the right kit (CKA-HONDA-CBR600F), after noticing the kit linked to was the wrong vintage. Whew ! I posted a few hours after ordering so forgot about that.
I haven't yet received a confirmation from the vendor for the order - is that normal ?

I usually receive an email from them within 24 hours of placing the order. I keep in mind that it is Thailand and that their hours of operation are not in sync with mine. I use PayPal and I get a confirmation from them within a few minutes of placing the order.
After 36-h I didn't get a confirmation email, so I emailed them and got a confirmation from a real person the next day. I'm not used to not getting a confirmation of the order placement immediately, but looks like all is good. I did, of course, get my Paypal confirmation immediately.

Lol, yes it was - The email said Wannisa Mcintosh but the signature said Blair. Husband and wife proprietors, perhaps ?
