Touring or tearing?
I do neither. I would be interested in taking a Track School, but time and finance priorities do not make it possible at this time.
I do not ride 2 up very often, but if I do, it is usually short distances with one of my daughters.
I do leisure sport touring when time permits, but daily commuting is the rule. I have to be careful, but can wick her up a little trying to get out of traffic or avoid a trouble spot.

I've been testing that the speedo doesn't hangs before 186 mph, not calibrated with GPS though. I guess the speedo error on my bike is slightly more than 10% since I've put a 16-tooth gear in front instead of 17-tooth (6% difference). From what I've read one can expect about 175+ mph real top speed from a Bird in stock condition.
It will be tested on track as soon as I get the opportunity, the old CBR 1000 F didn't turned me down on track, and the Bird should be slightly better since it has more power and a better chassie.
HAHAH no way thats your daily driver. LOL man i wish i was you. that thing must be the most unbelievable thing to have on the freeway. ill bet busas and 14s really think twice and shake a little bit too. what kinda exhaust are you running on that thing. ive been looking around even though my financial situation is tight....... i wanted to get a brock sidewinder 1 off but it was gunna cost me big time.
