Wheelies 101
p.s.....i have been doing them for a while with a complete stock setup with some reasonable success. i have started doing standups now and was doing well. once i got some distance on the standups i was limited because of wobble from the rear tire. as of today i lowered my rear pressure from 38.5 to 34.5 and WOW what a difference. i have so much more control now. it is remarkeable. i intend to lower it furthur to 32.0.....it was like flipping a light switch on. i can rock a 1/2 mile now without even trying.
Guys riding a wheelie takes time and feel. IMO the easiest way is left foot rear peg right foot on brake and get your bike to about 6k rpm and dump the clutch and the rest is by feel and BP balance point. The bike will get to a certain point to where it wants to be level it to little gas the bike will not ride too much gas and your rplacing fearings and mirrors. Take time and practice, you cant expect to watch a "how to wheelie" video and do it.....do you.

^^^^^im still messing with the pressure. ill dial it in. im finding that the lower pressure makes it easier to hold the BP, since it has a bigger contact patch. i can hit the BP all day long just need to get more comfortable holding it. i will get to the point where i keep my knee on the seat and just roll with it. there is nothing better that people staring at you amazed as you roll past them on one wheel standing up and looking over at them.
you even get to see the every so often pair of boobies when the chicks dig it..
