Yeah, it works fine. But like already said, it doesnt work well at low speeds. Its speed sensitive so the fast you go, the tighter it gets.
Ive never had any headshake issues at all. wheelies or mid corner bumps.If you plan to race the bike, it probably wont beconfidence inspiring enough. but for the street, it works fine.

The stock dampner on the 1000rr is awesome unless you plan to make this a track bike. I love how it gets tighter at faster speeds. It has never got in the way of my riding, but a lot of track guys like to swap it out due to all of the high speed turns they do.
I have never had a tankslapper or aything else that would make me question the stock dampner. It's nice and solid at fast speeds. Give it a try, I am sure you will like it.
