Squid! Just kidding. The bigger the better broseph. Remember this though, when you change that sprocket...your speedo will no longer be accurate, you're going to loose top end speed like you wouldn't believe, and please....PLEASE....STOP doing 1st gear wheelies. That's the best way to loop your bike.

"your speedo will no longer be accurate, you're going to loose top end speed like you wouldn't believe"
we are talkin about -20km in every gear? well its a street bike and i dont think ill drive my bike faster than 170km and i know it can go upto 300 easily and that its first gear is 130km 2nd one is 180 so i think its ok with me but losing more than 50km as top speed i think its too much
regarding the sprocket size +2 in the rear is it enought or i should go for a bigger one?
and will i notice a big chage in the performace on my bike on low speeds? i mean ill b able to do wheelie on the second third gear easily or i wnt see a big diff?
10xs again

You could just learn to clutch it up.

I went -1 front and +2 rear and installed a speedo-healer. It felt great, HUGE difference, until I got a mess of electrical gremlins yesterday that is. I would highly suggest it unless you often cruise at over 130 kph, it drastically increased my RPMs at high speeds. I think it tops out at a bit over 265 now instead of almost 300.

i went only +2 in the rear, it made a huge difference with wheelies and didn't affect my top speed very much at all. I got a speedohealer and at 80 mph (i dont know what that is in kph) im at 6,000 RPMS which isnt bad at all. The +2 in the rear now allows me to power up wheelies through 4th gear. It helped a lot with off-the-line starts too. If you're only interested in wheelies, I would suggest just going down a tooth in the front. Its roughly equivalent to going up three in the rear but its cheaper.

Speedo-healer info here: http://www.healtech-electronics.com/

Your bike reads the vehicle speed from a sensor in the transmission, when you change to larger rear and/or smaller front sprockets your speedometer will read lower than it should. The speedo-healer re-calibrates your speedo by basically tricking it.

Going up 2 teeth in the rear is a good start, but if that's still not enough go one smaller in the front too, like I did. I lost less than 25 KPH but gained a TON of acceleration and low speed ride-ability. Use http://cbrtech.dyndns.org:8080/cbrtech/gearing.php to calculate how much speed you will lose due to gearing (you will be putting all that power into acceleration though).

I wouldn't bother with the K&N filter, I haven't heard good things about them. If you are looking to gain alot of power from your exhaust save up and get a full system and power commander. You won't gain very much noticeable difference from just an end-can. If you just want it for sound and cosmetic reasons go for it.
