@245lbs you will be fine with the 2006 fork springs on the street.
Then again, you'll be fine with the '04/05 fork springs on the street.
If you ever do track days, or even ride stupid hard on the street, thats where
you'll see a problem. You need much stiffer springs on the front for track use.
With the 2006, and you weighing 245lbs you shouldn't have any trouble on the street and unless you have lots of money, do track days or just really want to tinker, you can save your money. If you want to race, even with the '06 you'll need to upgrade.
Same goes for the 155lbs guy... thats about the right weight for a '04/'05 front end on the track, so you should
find the front of your '06 a little stiff on the street. I wouldn't change it at anything less then a "club level" racer.
I can't recall exactly what changes Honda made anyway. I think they went from .88kg springs to .92's? They also adjusted the valving and anti-dive settings etc. It's now a very different front end.
