Default Transmission Symptoms

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Sometimes when shifting through the gears quickly i "miss" a gear (neutral spot in between 3rd and 4th usualy) hapens quite often. i am using semi senthetic oil from honda. I get a nice grinding noise when i make the second attempt into 4th gear. i even adjusted the clutch lever so i disengauge it further. still happens. are there syncronizers in the trany? any advice? oh yea, and 4th gear has a verry faint rattle. like maby a chipped tooth or jacked bearing. i dont have the ***** to tear into the engine. to inspect the gears and i would imagine a stealership would rape me on just the inspection, let alone parts and repair. 16K mile tune up comeing up in about 2100 miles. 04 1000 RR not the 04 600RR in the sig that someone wanted more than me. darn theifs.

first make sure the clutch is bled completely.
if it is, yeah that doesnt sound normal

good news is that with a cassette style tranny you dont have to pull the engine to get the transmission out
