Default Today..spotted small puddle of antifreeze under cycle

Greetings CBR1000rr's, today while cleaning garage and moving bike, i spotted a small puddle of antifreeze (fresh). It appeared to drop from somewhere half-way between the center of stater cover and front sprocket gear for chain. I then looked at the antifreeze reservoir and it is down to about 1/2 inch deep. So, I have a problem. But, I decided to ask you guys what to look for before I finally get all ready and under/over/through the bike, will need mirrors for sure, lol. Thanks for any tips or what to check first etc. Hope its just a loose hose clamp or such.

Sounds like it's by or at the water pump by your description. There's a few hoses that connect there, it's possible that one of the lines needs replacing. I had a hose on my 954 that seemed to sweat coolant. It was coming from joint on the radiator. An extra clamp fixed it....

You'll just have to look and see. Take pics and post em!

+1^

I would remove the fairings from that area and look for any signs of leakage.

It might just be something needs tightening. If you can't find signs of a leak, try it with the motor running, the coolant will then be under pressure. Let the motor come up to temperature to give everything a chance to expand properly.
