To test if it’s ground wire issue, make additional ground to test. Connect 1 jumper between batt-neg terminal and other end to big bare bolt on engine/frame. Then try starter.

This is 5-min fix with meter measurements…
... I will try grounding it somewhere else to be sure thats the issue. I just have to put the nose fairing back on and hook it all up. I changed the nose fairing yesterday.
Unfortunately I don't have a garage and it's raining today.

Is that crack going up on frame? Behind green wires?

That can only be repaired by welding back on. You can try finding another thick spot on frame somewhere to drill & tap new hole.

No. It doesn't go up. It circles around. A clean break of a pepperoni size piece of the frame. You can push it into the frame like a Jenga piece. How the hell?
I was thinking the same thing. How hard is it to drill into the frame? The way it is I doubt welding wouldn't be kosher. It's a cone shaped chunk with the smaller end facing outside. Where the wires attached.

Probably to left or right of hole by 1” would be OK to drill & tap. That way wires can reach. Might be better to install riv-nut to prevent stripping threads from hole.

Default Check your Start/Stop switch

Check your Start/Stop switch. Number 3 in the diagram below.

Mine will crank, but not starting until I switch it from run to stop a few times.
