starting problems on a 2006
i purchased a cbr from the auction. the bike was wrecked but it is only missing the front fairings and the cluster. i put the key and and atempted to start it everything sounds fine but it is like, the bike is not getting gas. is there a saftey shut off switch on the fuel pump?

I had the same problem when I replaced my upper fairing. Was checking to see if the bike would start and had to hook the cluster up to get it run. There's a signal that originates from the ignition and goes to the cluster. It routes through the fuse box. According to the manual its a Br/w wire coming out of the fuse box and is the same color on the cluster plug. Not sure how it works through. If I can figure out what it does for the cluster and a way to jumper it so you can get it running I'll post up again.
