I have a 06 cbr 1000 I'm thinking about changing my gearing to 15-43. Does anyone have this gearing.

 

It's a blast to ride, but 6th gearrevs highat highway speeds. You'll definitely want a speedo healer. I wishI couldchange the transmissionto give shorter 1st-5th gears and then a tall 6th, but I can't find anything like it.

works well revs quick and with a speedo healer still does 150+ on the dyno but shoots out of the hole like a raped ape

 

you only need to drop one up front for the street in my opinion. i went down to a 15 and it is very nice. great acceleration, but not too buzzy at highway speeds. rode my buddes 04 with thestock 16/41and what a huge difference the 15/42 is on mine is.
