Sprockets????

Default Sprockets????

Has anyone ever put on a sprocket for long rides to keep the R's down. I am going up to sturgis and we do alot of long rides. Let me know thanks.

I don't know if you can go up on the front but if you went down a couple on the back it would be fine. I don't think you'll notice that much difference in gas mileage. Depending on how often you travel long distances it probably wouldn't be worth the money. It would help on the overall mileage of the bike if you ever wanted to sell.

It just seems like when you are going about 75 to 80 down the highway cruising I always go to grab another gear and there isnt one there. I used to have a four wheeler like that I wished it had one more gear. So I put a sprochet in the front that was one tooth bigger and it made all the difference in the world. Off the line it was not as fast but top end it hauled ***. I have not seen a sprocket for the CBR 600RR one tooth bigger. Thanks for the Reply
