Default Sold the 600 F2, time to upgrade. Options?

So I sold my 91 CBR 600 F2 yesterday, needed the money for the closing costs on my new house. But, shortly after buying the house, I plan on getting another bike, just not sure what to get. The F2 was fast, but I often found myself pulling full throttle in 2nd or 3rd gear, wanting more out of the bike. Also, I hate carb'd bikes, and it just looked outdated. So in comparison, is a 1000rr a whole lot faster than my 600 F2? I've been riding for about a year, but I'm pretty comfortable with bikes. Would a 1000 be too much for me? Should I stick to a 600rr? Thanks folks...

go bigger. several riders i know wish that they got a 1000rr after they just bought a 600rr.

after i sold my 04 600rr, i bought a 06 1000rr and immediately i noticed a huge difference in power and handling. since you have been comfortable on a 600 f2, you will be more comfortable and happier with a 1000rr.

After some more research, I decided to go with an 04 1000rr. The guys in the 600rr forum are douchebags anyways.
