Slip on Jardine Rt-1 too LOUD ???
I have noticed the Jardines are pretty loud too, a few guys at the local bike night have them. I was out looking and was goin to go with the yoshi carbon fiber slip, but stumbled upon a scorpion at too good a price to pass up. Sound is just a little louder then stock, but deeper, sop impression, makes a bit more power, and seems well constructed.
The tighter the exhaust packing is the louder it will be - more or less packing doesn't make much of a difference. I wouldn't restrict the flow by making the openings smaller though. My advice would be to go with a different brand, like Baxom said, the leo vince with the changable baffles.
Hate to thread jack but does anyone else that has this pipe have the jardine header to go along with it? I want to purchase em but not sure if it would make any power gains. anyone with some knowledge on this please put it ou there thanks
So i went back to stock, till i get sonmething quieter...having trouble with the HTEV though, it's rattling when idling.. adjusted the cables, played around with the spring just in case i fitted it wrong, the solenoid IS working but it'sstill rattling.. [&:]

If you are worried about sound, I would go with the yosh.
I have the Scorpion and I love it, but it is a little louder than the Yosh.
