Default RE: Slider warning

I decided to do it "the ebay way" so after reading this thread I checked my sliders and the bolts defenatly don't go all the way.

What slider should I keep in mind?

how about Vortex frame sliders?

you cant go wrong with sato sliders
you do have to cut the fairings though
04/05 a round hole is good
on the 06 you have to cut a half moon in the fairing

I will make a play for Woodcraft sliders. They look great and work extremely well.

I have the LP for my 06 an didnt have to cut the fairing. I also put them on the upper mounts. LP said thats where they go, maybe for theirs. I've seen them mounted on either the upper or lower mounts on the 06's.

I bought a set of motovation "no cut". I can't say i've used them yet, but they seemed better that the LP set I had on my GSR-750.

I just bought a set of Shogun no-cut sliders. Has any one tryed these? They are made from Derlin even the offset base. I haven't insatlled them so I will check the bolt lenght before I put the faring back on. If I need longer bolts then what grade would be best to allow it to bend instaed of tearing the frame?
