OK I'm tipping toes right now at the red light with my 1k. I'm currently run on 190/50-17. It's time for new tire but should I switch to 190/55? What the differences between 55 and 50 and how much it will raise the height up? Thanks you all for the input.

 

a 55 will be a little taller. if you are on your toes now you will still beon your toes after. not a huge difference in that regard but as far as riding IMO the 55 nakes it alot quicker to fall in and pull out. advantages to both sizes just depends on what you want.


think of it this way. the 50 is "flatter" and the 55 id more pointed at the center of the tire.
