Default Service on 4000 miles

Honda dealer wants to charge me $210 for oil and filter change and they also said that they will adjust the clutch, chain and some other things on 4000 miles service. Does this seem right and fair price? I don't care about money but also don't like to be a jack ***.

I have a 1KRR, about a month and a half old. So am not at 4000 miles yet.
This one is just an oil + filter change as per the manual, correct?

Any reason why you wouldn't do it yourself?

Instead of giving the dealer your money I suggest you buy the service manual and the tools, if you don't already have them, and do the very easy servicing yourself. I don’t know about you but one if the pleasures I have is doing my own maintenance. Regardless if you can easily afford someone to do the easy maintenance you will learn so much about your bike if you do it yourself. Kind of like how some guys make it a hobby getting their lawns look like golf courses when they can afford to pay someone else to do it. For anyone who money might be tight, the money saved after three oil changes can pay fora $600 pneumatic bike lift, talk about a cool tool! [8D]
