Default SERIOUS PROBLEM (MECHANICAL)

My close friend just had his bike modified (REPSOL- complete flapper valve removed, 520 conversion, custom map). Two (2) times on the Dyno the bike had a serious dip in power around 8500 RPMS and one time even stalled. The few runs after were flawless. On his way home from the shop (on I-95) his bike cut off (engine stopped) in sixth (6th) gear at 9000 RPMS. He said he red lined it in other gears butwhen the bike hit 9000 RPMS in 6ththe engine shut off???? WTF

of coarse the DYNO/BIKE shop was closed at this time, but he was able to make contact with the mechanic who stated he might have conected fuel lines wrong(while doing the flapper mod- prior to the dyno), is that possible? would the bike even run?? . Any one have anything for this. My friend would greatly approciate your response and I'm curious george.Friend is LIVID, sick to his stomach , understandable.

ORIGINAL: ASAP

what does the flapper-mod have to do with the problem

[hr]

to do the complete flap removal, gas lines and possibly electrical coonections were un-plugged and possibly reconnected wrong. Just listed the mods he had done today on his bikeas his bike was flawless prior to these mods. trouble shooting possibilities

PROBLEM SOLVED !

One of the four (4) injector connectors was not fully snapped in, causing the bike to run off of three (3) injectors. Once all connections secured, the bike ran flawless. I think he still is sick to his stomach, but obviously relieved. Thanks ya'll
