I have the black and silver crack Head for the 954. The only probI have is I ordered the transation shield (tints in the sun and clearat night) so I do nothave to change them out and I have been waiting for 4 months now for them tp come in. and I was told by Scorpionyesterday that it will be March before theywill be ready.. WTF 6-7 mo to get a shield and they will not refund my money I just have to wait.

 

That sounds like something I will be investing in. What did you pay for it? That would save some wear and tearon the helmet.

 

The transition shield is 80.00 but I hava not seen it yet. When I ordered it in Oct I was told it will be a few weeks they were reworking the mix for theshield so it will get darker and last longer. Now that was Oct in Dec they gave me for freea transition with the old mix and I like itI can not wait to see how dark the new mix getts. I know I kind of sounded****ty in the last post but I just got off the phone with them.

I am thinking about getting the EXO 1000 to that is a bad asslid.

 

I just bought another scorpion helmet. This time its an exo700. I really like these helmets!

I tried on the exo1000 and I like it. I LOVE the flip down visor! The air pump is nice, but I can't see myself taking the time to pump it up every time before I ride (I mainly commute). The helmet also felt heavy, but overall, I liked it.

 

I have the exo-700 Sting, Yellow, black and white like the 900RRs I love it its way quieter and more comfy than my shoei
80.00! I bought my photochromatic lens at Cycle City in Honolulu for $65.00 and I thought I was getting Jacked...I got two gold mirrored visors to for $35 ea

Now I am not that big of a fan of them. I like my KBC. Now I have good things about scorpions. Another one you can check out that is very popular in Europe is Shark. They are the first to change to the new standards that are coming out. I forget the name of it but it is not snell. The diffrence is. Instead of droping the helmet with a 8 lbs wheight on it. It is dropped with an 8 lbs weight on the ground, but it is done at 40 mph. Not just dropped in the same spot. Just something for you all to check out.

What about the weight of the helmets? Are they as light as shoei and arai? I tried on a two year old scorp and it was pretty heavy compared to my arai. Granted my arai was more money, but weight and comfort are important to me as my neck tends to act up...
