i will only wear an exo400. the 400 was compared to the 700 in that old helmet shoot out article in Motorcyclist and it faired better than the 700 in the energy transfer test.
less force made it to the test head

I bought the 400 when Ibought myVTX1800 F b/c of the snell cert and the color/graphics matched the VTX tribal graphics. Now with my 1k, I still have the EXO 400, bought a matching one for my wife and a third on for "guests."

I got one last year with an extra visor for less than $200. It one of the best feeling helmets I have ever tried on.

I havea clear visor and a mirrored visor. I love how fast I can switch from one to the other.

I have been looking at them for a bit lately and I just ordered my new blue crackhead because it matches my blue and yellow 06 (Gammarat we don't live by each other so we won't look like twins) anyway I went for a ride tonight because it was unusually warm for Jan. and I was at a light and though i bet it looks like I stole this bike since my helmet is in the middle of beig sanded and I am on a new looking bike so I made thedecision to upgrade and keep this old shoei I got for a backup after I try some custom work to it myself <---(novice)
