Default rr 1000 vs hayabusa?

Got a guy at work getting a Hayabusa, and I know he'll be talking smack. I need to know whether my 1000rr can take this bike or not? I'm gonna try to get him to take it to the track cause thats what I perfer, but if push comes to shove well, you know. I have some drag expierience with my old f4i, and I know he's just a squid. let me know what u guys think.

I've asked the same question on another forum and they seem to think I should get him without a problem. Remember he's a squid I've been riding for a long time and know quite a bit about riding/racing.

Depends how good he is really, he shouldn`t have a problem beatin ya on the drag strip my stock 04 Blade did 10.10, so maybe that`ll help you decide. But take him to a twisty road or track is what i`d do, you`ll flatten him with your eyes closed.

First -- try not to get anybody killed ... even squids deserve to live[8D] Under no circumstance do you want to race him on an interstate or any limited access highway made for speed. I don't care if he is a squid -- don't take a lot of talent to twist a throttle. The Busa will eat any liter bike on the big sweeper type roads. You'll easily take him on any twisty type road. I rode my old busa hard and had suspension mods. I could keep up with most peeps in the curves but I had to work twice as hard at it. 1/4 mile is a toss up. If you have the experience then I'd say you got a good chance at taking him. Your plus is that you're 100# lighter so you'll want to hit it hard from the beginning and don't look back. Make sure you're only going 1/4mile -- if it's a straight line race and you go 1/2 mile you will see his tail light going away quickly.

I agree with infamous...it reminds me of a fat chick who is wearing clothes that are too tight for her figure.
