Default Repsol '05 vs. '07

I'm looking at a couple of used Repsols.
One is an '05 and the other '07.

Can you guys tell me that the major differences are between the '05 vs. '07 Repsol in terms of specifications?

Also, how much is an '05 worth with 8000 miles and an '07 with 800 miles in otherwise mint condition.

Big thanks,
Raz

first off, you probably already know this, but just in case. There are no differences between a standard 1000RR and a Repsol 1000RR other than paint. So for a comparision standpoint, 04-05 models are the same, and 06-07 models are the same.

The biggest difference in them is the body work. the 06-07 got revamped bodywork. the same chassis, different body panels. the 06-07 engine is up on hp, I think around 3 or so. also the gearing is different to put a little more power in the mid range. A few tweaks here and there, but other than those items, they are the same bike under the skin.

I have an 05 Repsol, and I like the looks of the 06-07 Models better. the side panels are smaller and make the bike look leaner.

As far as price. its hard to say. I may be off, but I would guess them to sell for around 6-7 grand for the 05 and 7-8 grand or so for the 07. But, better deals can easily be found. I wouldnt worry about 8,000 miles on the 05 as thats not many miles at all. But if the price is within a grand, I'd go for the 07 with only 800 miles.

haha, there is a 07 repsol with 400 miles on it at a dealership near me and they are asking 10,500 for it... thats a rip off! i mean its a real nice bike but it shouldnt be that high, i'd say like 9300 at most. i bought my 07 silver 1krr brand new in february of this year for 8600 Out the door! it had 0 miles on it when i bought it and it was still cheaper then the repsol with 400 miles on it, they want 2500 more just for the plastics... i wonder how much a repsol kit costs for my bike... probably not 2500! i think i got a good deal on my bike.
