Default repsol rr

Hey guys my name is tarak, first post on cbr. I dont know if this is a stupid question or a valid one but, is there any differencebesides the fairings between a regular 1000rr and a repsol rr? Thanks also i just got my license and do you guys have any bike suggestions for a beginner?

The Repsol CBR1000's get a different cam and ECU. They make about 40 more HP. Hah! Just kidding, it's the same bike with different paint and extrastickers, that's all. My suggestion is that you learn to ride on dirtbike. My first bike was an old beat up'79 YZ400 and I learned a lot from that thing. My first street bike ('84 RZ350) almost killed me, it takes time for the average mortal to tame the power of the open class sportbike. If my first bike had been a CBR1000RR Iwould have been the morgue 30 minutes after starting the engine.

thanks for the info and suggestion sd. do they make a repsol 600, or can you just buy the repsol fairings and swap em?

no they don't but yes you can swap the plastics for china ones that have repsol on them. seen plenty of F4i's like that.

i recomend a 600 for first bike if you buy anything less oul want more and if you buy a 1000 youl probably scare the crap out of yourself
just my opinion
