Default Rear brake rotor

Hello friends while removing my rear tire and inspecting my rear rotor and brake pads , looks like previous owner didn't take care of It. The pads were completely worn and scratching the rotor . New brake pads have been ordered.

My question is what can I do to fix this rotor . Or is it too far gone damaged and need a new one ?

Thanks you in advance 🙂

Personally, if that was mine I’d replace it.

It's a $25 part, hardly even worth resurfacing - if you're going to put new pads in, put a new rotor on as well.

It is better to change the rotor. Such marks can not only impair the performance of the brakes but also accelerate the wear of the new pads.
