Default RaceFIt Exhaust

So I was at Mid Ohio the other weekend for Superbike and my friend kept telling me about the Cycle Cat Storm GSX-R 1000. Its a tricked out GSX-R with the new RaceFit Exhaust. Stock headers with a titanium, slash cut, MotoGP inspired side exhuast (no muffler mind you). Bascially 4 into nothing where most bikes are 4 into 2 into 1. My friend knows a bunch of the guys who work for Cycle Cat so he asked to have the bike started. Holy ****! Sounds just like a MotoGP bike. He let it idle for a few seconds and then gave it throttle to about 8,000. He cleared the entire Cycle Cat tent. I thought my ears were going to bleed. Heres a link to the company website who makes the exhaust (pic of ZX-10R). They don't make one for the CBR yet but hopefully they will. I am going to get the specs on the exhaust and have my friend fabricate one for me out of titanium. It might take a little modification to the lower fairing but I don't care. It won't be completed until winter time so as soon it is finished, I'll post pictures.

Quick,

Was that on Saturday? If so I was there in the tent too. Who knows they might have started it up a few times. Your right about it being so loud it will make your ears bleed. Did you camp over night? I did and it was great. I had my 600rr up there and it was so cool riding around the track to different areas to watch the race. I also taped all the races on DVR so that was cool too to come home exhausted from the week end and see them that way too. My wife and kids will be with me next year. We are thinking of renting an RV to make the most of it. If anyone has the chance to go for the entire week end or just one day I highly recommend it. It was ASWOME!

Seems that it's basically just a flared and slash-cut piece of exhaust tube. Shouldn't be too much problem fabbing one up as an under-seat deal. Might look funny with all the extra space around it.

I am going to have my fabbed exhaust exit in the same area as the ZX-10. There is no reason to run a mid pipe all the way up the tail. The exhaust might happen sooner than later since I just severely sprained my right ankle over the weekend. Being a cripple right now is pissin me off royaly.

In reagrds to 05Tribal, yeah they were starting the bike up at the top of every hour. We walked over to the tent after the Superbike race on Saturday, right before they put the bike back in the trailor. I didn't camp up there, just to hot for me to be drinkin and sleepin in a tent.
