I am eventually going to put on a race rail. I have some no cuts sliders on right now, but I dont think they'll be of much use in a real riding situation. I think if I drop it in garage, they'll be ok, but anything, they'll do more damage than not.

Freestyle Ingenuity are pretty much the norm, but I kinda like the look of the Militant Moto also, but dont know anyone who has that set so no idea how they are

Yeah i had a pair of no cut with the bracket that looks like a drop of water and when i crashed it bent in and caused a 10 inch crack in my engine case and had a hugh chunk out of the case also they DID do more harm than good to the engine but my frame is still in great condition just had to shell out $1300 for a used engine not to mention all new fairings, new rearsets, 1 handle bar, and other misc stuff lol

I have race rails and really like them. If your tall they could hit your shins on occassion but i'm 6'2" and it's rarely a problem. You do have to cut the fairings to mount them but they are legit. I cut my holes out like stars and it looks sick. The no cuts are garbage! I light drop could bend engine mount bolts or break them completely due to the design.

I'm getting em in a couple weeks. I think they look pretty good, most people don't like the look. A LOT more protection than normal sliders, and that's what it's all about. And you can throw your legs up on em cruiser style on longer rides.

I have the Vortex adjustable rear sets so ill let you know if they do hit and if I can adjust the rear sets to five it. PS i had the no cuts when i dumped my 06 1krr and it trashed the engine case I had to get a new engine and NO it wasn't cheaper than buying another bike but they did protect the frame lol
