pleasant day to all here readin my post up

i recently got myself a CBR 1000 RR Repsol version.
the bike was involved in an accident with a HONDA CRV and suffered damage to the frame as well as other parts
i have ordered all the parts i need from www.bikebandit.com and the last part i need is a frame since the one i got is cracked.

i can purchase the frame from bikebandit.com but its too costly on custom duties here in my island in the caribbean.

if anyone here knows how i can purchase a frame for a CBR 1000 RR please let me know soonest so that i may have my bike running again.

i live on the island of Dominica in the Caribbean.. at present there are only 9 CBR's on island.

UM...

cracked frame usually means.. dont buy the bike but since you already did bite the bullet they arnt going to make you a frame on your island so your gonna have to import one.

 

well the thing is where i live there are not so many CBRs available.
import duties are high

i can order a frame from www.bikebandit.com
but i wanna know where else i can purchase a used frame from instead of goin the new frame route.

plus it would be a whole lot cheaper to import since its a used part

Ebay usually has frames for sale. I "think" you can order from Honda, but you will need your vin number in order to get one. But, that is also pricey.

Man,there sure have been a lot of wanted 1000RR frames lately..

 

most likely no one on ebay will ship something so expensive out of the US because they will assume you are scamming them, imo just buy it from the site.

 

yeah i been scannin ebay for such a long time
i came across an 06 frame but i was told it wont work for me so i left it alone....

lookin for a good used frame
vin numbers aint matter where i live

i jus need a good frame

 

1- i always found ronayers cheaper personally
2- find someone on here to order you a frame and ship it to you .. the only problem you will have is that to order a frame you need the TITLE OR a registration ... present or faxed in ..

so thats your main obstacle
