Default 05 CBR 1000 REPSOL

Not sure if anyone is interested but I just picked up an 05 Repsol CBR from Abernathy's Motorcycle Sales out of Union City, TN for $10.5 brand new out the door. I believe this was the 7th one they have sold and was told from the store manager (TIM) they have one left. I bought my last Saturday 5-28-05 and as of then they had just got one more left. My bike had 0 miles when I picked it up and was "Perfect". Stickers were handed to me so if any one is interested this Repsol may still be there. Ask for Tim. Good luck! www.abernathyonline.com

Yep Got one a few weeks ago, had mine on back order for a few months also. Bought it through a friend of a friend. Took forever. My Repsol was 13K OTD in So Cal, 17k sounds really overpriced and 10.5k sounds really nice! Kinda wish I was in TN!

its not even worth it to buy the repsol in cali. i got mine in florida and checked prices when i went back to CA. they wanted as much as 18,500. i told the guy to his face he was stupid. ths sad fact is that his place sells soooooo many bikes he says he has sold 30 of them at that price. i feel it for all you buyers in cali. its all that smog junk, and then you cant register one from another state. im hoping to get the required mileage on mine before i move back out there so i can register a bike i paid about 5 or 6k less for. if anyone knows how to get a bike in cali for cheaper, please, do tell

Damn...10.5...I wish. I was at Chicago Cycle ready to buy one and they wanted 13.5. Wouldn't budge on the price! It's not fair!!!!!!!!!!

Man, 10.5K Brand new outta door. That's a steal man, I just bought one today and it's $12,000 walk-out in Houston, TX. The dealer told me it's limited edition and they only allocate 2 in each dealership. But when I post my request to Honda.com, lots of the dealership from all over the country call me the very next day telling me they have one in stock. Isn't that true if this is a very LIMITED edition? And one more thing, when I start the bike, only one side of the headlight is on, is this normal?

Yes the other light is for brights. Kinda lame design I thought. My bro has an R1 and it has normal lights. 2 regular 2 brights and 2 marker lights. Gets nice a bright at night.
