Wondering, does anybody know if we will be getting the new "HRC" edition model 1000RR here in the states ? Or where to find the "HRC" plastics ...Those plastics I think look awesome. Thanks...

 

I dont think we will get them in the states. We get the Repsol while they get the HRC. I think... I could be wrong.
The HRC plastics are sick looking. But spending $2000+ on plastics is a little over my head.

 

If the past is any indication of the future ... no.

Expensive route (OEM Honda) = get someone outside the US to buy them and ship them.

Those look great but $700 is still pretty pricey. Anyone ever buy these plastics from Hong Kong? It states they are ABS plastic but I wonder if they are just cheap knock offs.

 

I got an email back from Auctmarts (more of a known quantity than moto-777) and they said they will also be producing the HRC replica kits. If it were my money, I'd probably wait for the Auctmarts.

Hong Kong and cheap knock offs are synonymous aren't they? lol If you want real deal OEM Honda you'll be looking at thousands of dollars not hundreds. For ~$700 shipped you'd be able to get about 1/5 of the OEM Honda stuff.

Yep, and the plastics are just as much here as anywhere, maybe even more. If the exchange rate hadn't taken a nosedive the cheapest you could buy a '08 for would still be over $15,000 USD, its down to about $11,000 now though. We won't get the '09s in until the '08s are sold out from all the dealers too so they can keep selling at MSRP [:@].
