It is time for my first oil change what oil is the best for my 06 CBR 1000 rr? Brand and Weight.

 

the factory honda oil.....you still need to wait until you have more miles on it before going to a full syn oil

 

Funny you should ask, I went to the HONDA dealer in Gaithersburg, MD and asked the very same question. I made mention that the owners manual said that "we" should go 8K miles between oild changes, and the shop foreman said that many do a 2K mile interval, sooooooo not sure what to believe. I run the Honda OEM oil so .......I think I will do every 3K miles. I dont race, but I rSHO hard!!!
