This oil debate made me remember one of my visits to the local Honda dealer HAHA! I use the Honda brand HP 10w/40 semi synthetic. Well, I went to the dealer one day to buy 3 quarts of oil and a filter. I had onequart at home. I went over to the shelf where the oil was at. I didn't see any 10w/40. All they had on the shelfwas the 5w/40semi. Well the girl thatworkedin there came over and asked if she could help.I showed her the bottle of 5/40 and said "I need this kind of oil but, I need it in 10w/40."Shesaid "well the bottle you have there is thesynthetic. Is that what you want?" I said "No, this is semi synthetic. I just need it in 10W/40."She again said "No, this is synthetic."I showedher theside of the bottlewhere it saidclearly "PETROLEUM/ SYNTHETIC BLEND".Then she said for a 3rd time "NO, THIS IS SYNTHETIC". Thats when I said "WELL IT DOESN'T MATTER. I JUST NEED THE10W/40, THE ONEWITH THE RED CAP."LOL!After all that, I finally got the right stuff. It was in theback. The otherguy that worked in there was listening in on us thewhole time. I hope he set her straight when I left. Haha.But, I wasn't going to get into much of an argument with her. She wasrightsexy. Just not to knowledgable onoil.
