this is one of those Ford Vs. Chevy Vs. Dodge arguments that will never be perfectly answered by anyone... seroiusly just buy whichever one is the most appealing to you and put it in the bike

well everyone has a an opinion about oil, some say after so many miles to put full synthetic, and other say run full syntheticfrom the get go, oil is oil and synthetic is synthetic. To me in my personalexperianceI never used syntheticbecause the rumors that this may affect the clutch plates? if anyone has to add to that theory then please reply! but all my bikes did not exceed 25k and I used only honda oil 10/40w, never had a problem, it also would depend on how you ride, im a street rider only so I dont really push the bike to its limit too often, but those who do shouldpossibly seek synthetic.

I bought Repsol full synthetic because i wanted the free diecast that comes with it.
The biggest difference I have ever been told was you can go further on an oil change with synthetic.

Never run full syn in a new bike or car because the engine needs to break in the rings to the cylinders, synthetic is too slippery to cause the rings to break in properly causing blow by. Use regular detergent or non detergent oil during break in then use semi-syn thereafter. depending on bike and clutch material, full syn would have adverse affects on it. (IE. slippage)
