My first mods (quite embarrassing)
OK, so I came home to see my baby on her side yesterday.
My driveway gave out to the kickstand. I got a couple scratches on the alternator cover and a cracked fairing near the left front directional.
Aaaaargggg!!!!
The parts aren't that costly and can be in in a coupl'a days. Then I'll be back to stock

RE: My first mods (quite embarrassing)
Yea - I always have my plate under it, and the other day I came home and totally didn't bother, thinkin, I'll be back out after. Then the next day it rained and, well, the rest is history.
This just opens up the door for some real toys to be added when I get my parts, like some flush mount directionals, tinted screen, and fender eliminator.

I know you must feel awful about that....but for what it's worth....it happens to alot of us. I had my Ducati 748 fall over right in the dealer's lot on soft tar.....cost me over $1400 to repair and replace the entire front fairing. Again happened to me with my old Gixxer.
Now I ALWAYS travel with a 1/2 inch think 4x4 inch block of ironwood (very heavy wood) either in my jacket or under the rear set and I never park it without shoving this under the stand...
