i roll PP and corsas,....im 245 and run low 30's on sag....ill run like 35 pounds of pressure rear....
What do you mean by run low 30's on sag??? Suspension??

Pressures are supposed to be 36 psi front and 42 psi rear.

If the tires are less than that they will over heat and cause increased tread wear.
Unless the Pirellis have a different max psi I wouldn't go that low on pressure.
Keep in mind that if you have underinflated tires that they are dangerous at maximum speeds due to over heating and poor handling.

Keep in mind maximum weight carried on this bike is like 366lbs. So 245 is what 2/3rd or 3/4 of the maximum weight. As the weight goes up the tire pressures should too.
I am not busting on your weight I was recently at 225 and am finally losing weight now. But weight was watched closely when I was on the Kawasaki to be able to load it too the max I had to make sure the tires were inflated properly.
Not to call you out but tire pressures do not go up with weight, you can test this by putting the bike on a rear stand and checking the pressure then set it down and sit on it and have a friend check the pressure. It will be the same.

I never said tire pressure went up with weight. Most tires recommend the tire pressure be near the maximum to get the most load. The lower the air pressure the more heat they will produce when lower on pressure. The weight on the tires flatten the tire profile so you bump up the pressure to help compensate.

We ran the Diablo Corsa that came with the bike for two track days and they have no grip. The bike was abrandnew cbr 1000 on July 3rd stock everything and after 370 miles they were pretty much shot. Our cold pressures are set at 29-30 psi and our hot return pressures are as high as 36-37 psi. We use tire warmers between sessions and that helps alot. If you want to run a DOT tire and I know they stick all the way over to the edge try the Dunlop Sportmax Gp. They only last about 300 miles but they stick.

average tire lasts 2500 to 3500 miles,, if you put more than 4000 miles on ur rear that means your not ride hard enough..that tires dont stick after 4k miles.

I'm with AudiCBR on this, I usually average about 5-6000 miles on Dunlop Qualifiers. And I ride rather aggressively for the street. But then, I do have a lot less torque to deal with than you liter-bike guys.
Thats exactly about how much I got on my 05 600RR and my current bike too. It all just simply comes down to how you ride it. I commuted everyday for a year to school, work, then back home, or about 60 miles daily. That milked my stock tires (POS Pirellis) out a good 5000 miles. I seriously don't understand why Honda had those on there.

the whole tire pressure thing....i run as low as i can, in that, it doesn't lose grip while cornering, and that after warm up its no more then around 5 lbs hotter....
