Default The Maiden Voyage

Well I Road My new 06 for the first time. It was a great feeling. I know a lot of you have been here for a while and have been riding 1000's for years but this is my first time on my own 1000 and I am all smiles. The power is just amazing. The way it turns, stops, shifts, everything is just too good to be true. I have never been brand loyal with cars, turcks, food, electronics, even motorcycles but I love this HONDA.

I really want to learn how to track ride. I have a m50 to ride every day and would like to use the cbr more for the track. The more I have been looking into it I am realizing that you need to do a lot of things to the bike to be able to run on the track. i.e. replace the coolant with water, tape the lights, ect. It seems to me that having to go from coolant to water back to coolant is a real pain in the ****. I have also been trying to get peoples opinions on full leathers. sidi, rocket, and the other million brands out there. I have not had much luck finding any good tests on the different suits. For now I will need to save money for the track stuff and a few other goodies like stands. I will just keep breaking it in and enjoynig it on the streets.

Welcome and congrats on the new 1krr.
You are at the right place for input on anything you would ever want to know about cbr's, gear, safety, mods, other goodies, and everything else.
Tip: Search the forum first then ask.

Keep it safe!
