Default Maiden Voyage

Well, I think it's getting to that time for me. Now that it's in the mid to upper 80* here I think I will take a test ride around the block next week. Still taking it easy & short. Just to see how I feel.

Well, I figured today was Sunday/next week so I did it today. Went around the block 3 times & felt great. You know, that wind through the hair feeling, the huge grin on my face just knowing I was on 2 wheels. My back felt good.

And, to answer your question....Hell ya, I scam those whenever I can. Wouldn't you?

It's good that it went ok! Even after a couple of weeks not riding, I get the grin up. Does your doc say you're right to go?

Oh and, yes, I sure would...

When I spoke to my Doc about riding he said riding's not safe for any back, he said with a smile. Speaking of NOT safe, he's a Navy Seal! He did tell me I should be good to go after a full year of recovery for since fusions take a full year to become completely solid. So, for that I wont do any riding except around the block a couple times probably once a week till January.

As I stated above I will be taking it very easy for quite some time still. One thing I wont do is push myself , I don't need any set backs. Thanks

UPDATE... I took her out today ( 75 degrees ) to stretch her legs. I rode about 4 miles. The last miles of that I took my 10 year old son for a spin. My back is feeling great.
