Currently own an 02 954rr, was at a dealership about an hour away and they have an 07 1000rr with 0 miles. seriously thinking about trading in on it but what do you guys think the 07 is worth? The stealership has a price of $8900 on it which i know is WAY to high. Please give me some ideas. I have looked on ebay and some dealerships on there had a couple 07's with 0 miles for more around $7200 - 7500.

 

wow, that is way too high. You can into a left over 08 for that easily. The thing to remember here is that they trying to sell a bike that is a full model change leftover, almost to be a two model change over once the 2010's come out. If they still have an 07, they should be trying to sell it. but in all honesty, they probably won't cut you much of a deal. If it was a dealership that wanted to deal it would have listed much less than that. IMHO, I'd get an 08. The 07's are nice, but the 08's are that much nicer... aside from the looks... still not crazy about it. If it were me, I'd buy an 08 for less and drive in and buy some chain lube or something.... when the douchebag salesman walks up to you and asks if your still interested, just say .. nah, I got an 08 for grand less you wanted for your 07...

 

shoot, show me the dealership that has 08's for 9k and I'll buy another one right now. I paid 13 OTD for mine but it was the first one out of the box and was the LE black :P
