Yeah, sorry about that... we had to switch our auto insurance over as well, but that was a good thing as it saved us money on that too!![sm=happy046.gif]

RE: insurance rates - holy $#@!
I have state Farm and pay 242.52 a YEAR for full coverage, 250 deductible comp/coll on my 06 1000RR. No PIP. States may vary on requiring PIP on MC coverage. I also pay for the same coverage on my 06 F4i, 115.91 a year. I have my autos with them (all except one), and my life insurance.
They don't do farm coverage so my home owners is elsewhere, that is why I have one car with the same company my home is with, gets the multi line discount which practically pays for the insurance on that car.

RE: insurance rates - holy $#@!
this is the best thread ever, after reading it yesterday i called state farm for a quote.
Progressive full coverage: about $1500/year @ $141/month
$500 deductible all the way around
state farm full coverage: $371/year @ $31/month
$100 comp. deductible and a $250 collision deductible
i am 25 with some traffic tickets in the past and an at fault accident 3 years ago. I am making the switch to State Farm Today.
Funny part is full coverage on my 2006 CBR 1000rr is cheaper than just liability on my POS 2002 car, and the bike has x3 the book value

RE: insurance rates - holy $#@!
Hey guys, I live in Manitoba, Canada. my 2007 CBR1000rr is insured through MPI, a public (government run) insurance agency. they will only insure riders for May to end of September. I have a clean driving record but I pay $786 PER MONTH. (~3700 per riding season)... my friend lives a little ways away in Saskatchewan and pays about 120 per month... with a worse driving record (and same bike). Just to let y'all know... Eazy88

i have Progressive.. i have it on my truck too. but my rate for liability on my929RR was $190 for 12 mos. of coverage. let's face it.. if you wreck and it's your fault you probably won't live anyways so why pay extra? LOL.. at least if i get creamed on my bike by some dummy who isn't insured *knocks on wood* at least i get paid for my injuries if i make it.

I'm with State Farm paying $252.00 a year = $21.00 a month for full coverage with $500.00 deductable on an '08 CBR1000rr. I'm 31 with a clean driving record. Not sure why so many others are getting screwed.

When you blokes make the switch, on behalf of long term S.F. customers we would truly appreciate if you'd not get into an accident or have your bike stolen [8D] .. we've enjoyed our rates for a long time and wish it to continue as such.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation,
Sincerely,
Concerned S.F. M/C clients [sm=thanx.gif]
