I think it has a lot to do with where you live. I'm in Houston close to the city but in a nice area, 36, totally clean driving record - $2400.00 a year(full coverage)on average with State Farm on every superbike I checked into....Crazy.. Maybe I should get my home owners insurance with them and see what they would do????.

Howd you get 450/yr at state farm. They quoted me like 1800/yr. And i have a perfect record.
Do you have home owners insurance as well?

How are you guys paying so little for full coverage. My PLPD is 350 year. How old are you guys. I'm 23 no marks on my driving record, and my bike is free and clear but I couldn't imagine getting that quote for full coverage. Everywher I went they wanted over $2,000 a year for full coverage. I wish I could get full coverage for less than $1,000 a year

My best friend pays 11$ a month with state farm for full coverage on his bike(GSXR 1000-2006). He does however have all of his company vehicles and home and all the rest of his toys insured with them. He's 38yrs old and his wife works for State farm. So, that may have something to do with it. lol
I'm 37, clean record and have everything with state farm; house, van, truck, bike, 2x life and I live in a low populated area. btw gieco quoted me 2k and progressive 4k a year. screw that my bikes paid for

Geico doesn't work too well for sport bikers in SoCal ... i'm with AAA now that they undercut State Farm

woa all of you are lucky because State Farm is charging me at least 235 a MONTH thats why i don't have insurance. I live in Miami Fl
good luck with that
wreck me without insurance and my high priced very enthusiastic USAA lawyers will back up a truck to my place and unload all of your stuff

i especially like the new tx law that requires everyone caught without insurance to immediatly have their car towed. no questions asked.

within a month of the law enacting the impound lot was overflowing
