I Pick it up on Wed!!!!!!!!!!!!
My experience State Farm kills all others with motorcycle rates...
Years ago I was in PA 21yrs oldwith R1, 3 quotes were, Geico $6000, Progressive $2500, State Farm $675. True story!
Been with State Farm ever since. When I bought the RR recently Electric Ins. wanted ~$700, good old State Farm $435.
ABest
EDIT: Full coverage50/100 is $366 a year with $250 deductibles. I think that is pretty good for a 1000cc motorcycle. Then again it is still considered a 998cc motorcycle so that keeps the insurance rates lower (as does my age).
I am 41 but only owned bikes for 8 years now since I got my motorcycle license in 1986. But I do know I haven't had anything accident related since 2004 (Not my fault) and no tickets since 1988 (Not my fault either). Younger brother claimed he was me and gave me a shock when I received notice of 3 points on my license. Accident happened because a lady turned left in front of my Jeep Grand Cherokee giving me only 1-2 car lengths to stop. Never happen with a SUV of that weight. Luckily my new brakes slowed me down enough to only take out her rear door and quarter panel (Totaled her car but not my SUV) and not her front door and daughter in the front seat.
Seat might wait since I willneedsome money for insurance, first service, bike stand, (jacket and helmet are blue, bike is silver and black), etc....

Picked it up on Wednesday.
Then rode back to work [:'(](20 miles).
After work took it out for 40 miles. Yipee!
Today took it out after work for another 70 miles. Total mileage is right at 134 miles. I still haven't seen the red light telling me to refill the tank.
Pictures on my new Webshots link. Hope it works for you.

Bike is more radical than I thought. Bar are really low, seat is hard, and the pegs are really up there. I won't be dragging mine I am just not that comfortable leaning a bike that far.How many of you drag your pegs? You would have to be dragging everything (foot, leg, bodywork, handlebar, etc.....) first.
At this point I am going to finish breaking it in and go from there. There seems to be some driveline lash which I hope will go away during my first service.
After my 70 mile rideI think the following mods are in order: Helibars, TCM rearset lowering kit (anyone else make these?), vista cruise (maybe), heavy bar ends (Maybe), Sargent seat, Double bubble screen, Side bags, small (sport) tank bag, tail bag or girlfriend (either will work for me[8D][8D]) on the back seat, Silver and black jacket, anda new helmet to match.

Idon't remember going above 9000 rpm yet. So no I am not pushing the envelope. The tires were new and I've been on a bike that used to have the front end slip when new tires were installed. So I haven't been pushing it yet for fear of washing out the front end. The second tank I will run much harder now that the front tires are scuffed up.
For some reason it seems like we get a couple of days of good weather and all the police are out on those days. I don't know how many I have passed in the last two days.
