Wrong.....go to DMV and file for a lost title. The bike may not have a title because it was salvaged. You can have Honda pull records on bike and if you know someone at the Honda dealership they can give you the name of the previous owner and call and talk to him...thats what i did before i bought mine.

Title problems are a hassle. Personally would avoid this bike like the plague. Ya, it's a decent deal but with the economy in the toilet I can foresee many 'toys' being sold very reasonably in the near future. The excuse he gives is lame ... how do you insure or tag a vehicle that you have not had titled to you? The truth is this may be absolutely legit ... even so, clearing up red tape at the DMV or getting hassled by the police because your paperwork isn't right is something I like to avoid.

If i'd have a stolen bike i wouldnt post on craigslist

and yeah... i think i dont want anymore all that hassle, plus since i'll not have a title anyone can come over my house accusing me for stealing his bike
