So my friend, who I hit up the local twisties with a lot, let me whip his 04 1000RR around. He told me to ride it on 3 different occasions and I just told him no I dont want to lol. But one night he convinced me to just try it out. Next thing I know I come back in the gas station and he was like... that was a long test ride. Anyway, awesome bike. He's got full micron system, PC3, dyno tuned, -1 +3 w/ 520. After riding his I'd definately want one for the street, especially if I track my 600 out.

Anyway.. moral of the story.. I envy you bastards lol.. *shakes fists*

 

+1 here. I love my 600 but can't help but get that grass is greener on the other side whenever I see someone riding a 1kRR.

 

HAHA! Yeah.... I love my 1000... HAHA! But now that Im done rubbing it in your face I would like to admit that I get the same feeling with you 600 guys.

 

you know, a good rider on a 600 will destroy an average rider on a 1000 in the twisties.

the 07 600 has a stock suspension and my 1000rr has ohlins. my lap times on the 600 are a little faster

 

Yes bax, I realize this. I have numerous videos of me pulling away from my friend in our local mountain twisties. With him just getting right back on my *** in the straights. I was just commenting on how fun it was taking his bike for a little joy ride, and on the new suspense from the difference in my bike compared to his. Here's a pic of him on his bike a few weekends ago at High Point.

 

I know what you mean bro! I had an R6 then an F4i(big mistake) and finally was able to put a leg over the 1000rr and love every second of it.

 

If I ever get a hold of a damn frame I will have the best of both worlds myself. my 03 600rr is awsome I love that bike, but I was kicking myself when they put out the 1krr in 04.But I know for sure that Im quicker on the track with the six than with any of my friends liter bikes.

 

I have an 04 1000 and it is my first bike and only been riding for bout 3 months. Still getting adjusted to it from a CR250. Two different worlds!!!!
It has an Arata full exhaust system, Tailight eliminator kit, frame sliders andflushmount turn signals. I ride the mountains alot since they are 20 minutes from my house and have had guys on 600 leave my sitting in the corners but straight aways the 1000 walks away!! Hopefuly I can get to go to a track and see what I can do instead of possibly flying off the mountain one day......but to tell ya the truth I wanta 600 too.
