Honda Mechanic???
Had the bike up on its rear lift for chain adjustment.Wasnt sure about rear axle torqe so I called my Honda dealer who I have purchased several bikes from.I spoke to the mechanic and I said"kind of in a pinch bike is up on rear lift do you know torque specs for rear axle for cbr 1000 06"He tells me he has no Idea and wouldnt find out for me.The way I see it that mechanic really did help me out.Now I know I will never buy a bike from them again. So I got the bike on the rear lift and does anyone know torque specs for rear wheel.
Thanks for quick response. No getting around it got to get service manual. Thanks again.Had to edit sorry didnt answear you question fully.Yes I have the manual under the seat but I didnt have the key.Today was tighten bolts day and adjustments.I know you should inspect every day but I go over thourgh once a week.
That value is from the Operator's manual, not the service manual.
I'm looking for a service manual now, so I can straighten out the shifter I bent when I tipped my bike over in the garage yesterday (see other post).

Go get your key dude! How do you expect to plow up the front lawn of your parents house without a key to start it?
