Default help.... exhaust....

anyone done it themselves on installing a slip on??? how tough is it?

I'm in the process right now. Piece of cake. Honda seems to out engineer all other makes in easiness to work on. What slip-on ya going with? The Micron is a pretty one. I'm going with the 2Bros Carbon Fiber. I'm modifying the the brown plastic piece so that it'll still fit on the bike. Don't like the look of just the heat shield showing above the can. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Here's some pics of how far to take it down. When you take stuff off, it's a good idea to put the bolts back in the holes they came from.

Both seats -- gone:

Passenger pegs / heat shield -- gone:

Foot pegs -- leave dangling:

Dayumm dat hole look big!!

Note: In the last pic on the left side you can see the connectors for the rear lights (white, orange, blue -- also a green one on top not shown). Ya gotta unplug these BEFORE you remove the part. Forcing stuff only causes grief. Good luck!
