Help! 2008 CBR1KRR won't start!
Hoping you all can help. I have searched through the other simlilar threads and didn't see one for the '08.
My '08 CBR1KRR won't start. I rode it all day about a week ago. Tried to start it over the weekend and NOTHING. Starter turns over, fuel pump works, all the fuses associated to the ignition are good. Seems like I'm not getting a spark. I replaced the battery just to make sure (lifetime battery warranty).
Does anyone know where the ignition coil is located? Any connectors I need to check?
Thanks for your help.
Dave

Well, it finally started this morning. I didn't do anything different than I did for the last couple days, but it started.
The original issue was the battery. After I replaced the battery, then only other explanation I have is that the engine was flooded from me trying too many times to start it.
This morning, when I was pulling out my CBR600F3 to go to work, I gave it another shot at starting the 1krr. Held the throttle wide open for the first attempt to clear out any excess fuel in the cylinders. Second attempt, normal start procedures, and it started right up. The exhaust was pretty heavy, so I can only guess that it was flooded from trying to many times after the battery swap. I let it run for about 5 minutes then shut it down. I'll start it up again this evening when I get home. I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks to everyone for your concern and suggestions.
