Helmt Holder
ORIGINAL: Silver Wing 06
i need to check with my dealer i just got my bike a few weeks ago and could find no cables to speak of. the lack of a tool kit also was not a nice surprise. looked under the seat to find the owners manual and a spark plug socket? ok how am i gonna adjust my chain with this? i got tools for at home, but when out riding it smetimes happens to have to tighten the chain. i know i got a great deal on my bike but for the price honda could atleast give me the few tools i need to tighten my chain. and i am glad you posted this as i didnt seem to receive any helmet cables with my bike either.

As for the helmet laws, squids are ONLY wearing a helmet in MI b/c of the law. You can tell the guys who know a little more b/c they are geared up. I like the cooler weather because it thins out the squids. You do still see them, occasionally, in sweatshirts, but they can't show off their bods with all those layers of insulation. *rollseyes*
As for this whole helmet thing, I guess I could see using it if you're traveling from one place to another, but I would never leave a helmet with a bike while parked. I saw a guy leave a HJC AC12 full carbon fiber helmet with his bike. I could not understand leaving a 500$+ helmet with your bike. If anyone really wants it, they'll get it by jacking that lock cylinder and opening the rear. It really would not be difficult. Take your helmet with you even if it's only a $100 helmet. Heck, that's $100 that I'm not looking to give away and I'm sure some dummy would be willing to cut off if he/she is too lazy to bump the lock for the rear seat.
i think the 600 rr has a kit under the fairing does the 1000? i looked but didnt find it. as for the helmet hook i use it at my work as my locker will not fit a helmet in it. and the chemicals i work with will damage the finish on a helmet even if in a cloth bag. besids we have cameras on the bike parking at my work so it is more to hold it then for the locking of it.
