I am going to be swapping out a swing arms on a 07 from the chrome swing are to the black. I am aware of needing a swingarm lock nut wrench (or equivalency). My question is, what is the size of the allen wrench that goes into the swing arm pivot bolt? Just don't want to go out and buy 3 or 4 different sizes and then return the ones I don't need. I have a 12 and it was way too small. Thanks for you help on this!

 

iam not sure but i think its a 17, also if its a 07 it should already be black. the 06 was the silver swingarm.

 

Thanks for the info jdavis! You are right though about the years... I just got them crossed. It's not actually my bike, just doing this project for someone.
