Default Got me a 1000RR

Hi guys,
Just got a 04 1000RRwith only 4500 miles on it. Its all black with ithas a Yoshi pipe on it already it'spretty much stock. My questions is other then the stator and not using the nocut framesliders what else should i know about this bike? I had a 01 929 and loved it but it was stolen so I decided to upgrade to1000with the cash i got back from insurance plus I love the way they look and after riding my new 1000 i love it.

one more question? Do you guys like the damper on this bike? I had a ohlins on my 929 and seem to work better

I used to have that Toby dampener, got it out of Lockhart Phillips' catalog back in the day. It was alwasy an awesome upgrade. I don't have experience with other dampeners myself, but I can give that one a big plus. I know that alot of factory dampeners are crap, but they can be rebuilt apparently, with heavier oil, making them a little more effective.

Sorry I didn't really answer many of your questions :-(

I love the stearing dampner. It keeps the bike very solid and stable at high speeds, but it is still more than nimble enough for the streets. It you plan on making you bike a track bike, you will want another dampner that take less effort on numerous high-speed turns.
